The Indian cobra is large highly venomous snake and is a member of the "big four" species that inflict the most snakebites on humans in India. The Indian cobra is revered in Indian mythology and culture and is often seen with snake charmers. These snakes vary tremendously in color and pattern throughout their range. The ventral scales or the underside coloration of this species can be grey, yellow, tan, brown, reddish or black. Dorsal scales may have a hood mark or color patterns. Salt-and-pepper speckles, especially in adult specimens, are seen on the dorsal scales. Indian cobras can easily be identified by their relatively large and quite impressive hood, which they expand when threatened. Many specimens exhibit a hood mark. This hood mark is located at the rear of the Indian cobra's hood. When the hood mark is present, are two circular ocelli patterns connected by a curved line, evoking the image of spectacles.
Indian cobras are oviparous and lay their eggs between the months of April and July. Females usually lay between 10 and 30 eggs in rat holes or termite mounds and will fiercely guard them during the incubation period until they hatch. The incubation period lasts around 48-69 days. The hatchlings measure between 20 and 30 cm (8 and 12 in) in length. They are independent from birth and have fully functional venom glands.

A masterful cobra rescue by a brave professional with nerves of steel. I can hardly imagine what it would be like to actually be there during the cobra rescue.

Dear MIRZA MD ARIF, I see your work saving poor families from venomous snakes almost every day. It is very interesting how you do the job. Unfortunately, I often see people standing around without a “social distance” in places without a “face mask”. I know that the “protective measures” do not arrive in distant places.

Excellent video of a very beautiful but dangerous cobra. So close to where the family sleeps! Thank you for adding English subtitles; this makes your videos so much more enjoyable and informative to those of us who only read and speak English.

Whenever he brings them outside they are so clean n looks like dirt doesn’t touch their skin. What a miracle uniqueness that they don’t match with each other so often. Each of them has their own beauty😃💞

Hi Mirza. Very skillful use of cobra escape behavior to remove it without too much damage to the house. And at the same time some excellent video for show and tell and educational opportunity. Happy ending. I am endlessly fascinated. Added bonus is a very unadulterated street view of the citizens in your area. Thank you, sir.

Не думаю, что появление кобры в жилище человека - событие чрезвычайно редкое для индусов. И все поселение собралось среди ночи, и специалиста пригласили... Да ахнули той кобре кирпичом по шипелке, освежевали и на сковородку!

Your good at that Mirza, anticipating snake movement and handling.Snakes like you..,India need's to organize snake venom harvest team for revenue, then can help it's people with safe building material to keep safe.Soon scientist make Non Narcotic medicine for pain and those snakes will become Gold Mine for India and be rich once again.I feel bad for scared mother's and understand why people get angry at snake.I would be worried for my family there to..Snake can live free, yet still get harvested venom and released.Hope soon for India,..Respect...
