The past is a vast and mysterious land that begins at the big bang and ends in the present, expanding with each passing moment. It is the home of everything that came before, the key to understanding our present. Here we find the most amazing creatures to ever roam our planet, hundreds of millions of species so diverse that our imagination cannot do them justice. Unfortunately the past carefully guards its secrets.

It's like hearing about dinosaurs for the first time, but as an adult, and gaining new insight and a new appreciation for them and all the living things that have roamed the earth and continue to roam it. Thanks for making such insightful and absolutely beautiful videos. You guys are great

I remember as a kid in the 80s thinking this about how dinosaurs were always presented as brown reptile skins clinging to bones. We really don't know what they looked like. It might be scientifically honest to portray them only with what we know but it leaves out room for imagination.

Love the videos you guys put out. Not sure how recommendations work, or if any are even taken, but I recently finished the highly controversial book The Cycle of Cosmic Catastrophes, How a Stone-Age Comet Changed the Course of World Culture, which talks about the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis proposed by Richard Firestone, Allen West, and Simon Warwick-Smith. Upon further research, I found that this hypothesis is highly contested to be true or not, and I would love to see your take on it. Fantastic and immensely informative work, looking forward to the next video!

Oh, and they can mix in current generation humor and speech, as may I remind you these people somehow managed to use the word "yeet" in a scientific standpoint. Hope this channel continues for a long time.

Predators have eyes in the front to see their prey. They have sharp teeth to tear through flesh. They're built for speed and agility and have thick hydes to protect their innards. If Dinosaurs had feathers there would be marking in the soil denoting feathers, it's how we know prehistoric birds existed. This _"maybe everything was cute and cuddly and humans are the real enemy mantra"_ is getting old real quick. Now think about that and think about who's running the show right now.
